This small picture, as you will be able to see in the included workstages, started as a hires clipart and was originally meant to be a small gfx for the C64 diskmagazine Vandalism News. But there were delays with the new outfit and so i thought about what to make of it. Somehow i ended up with the idea of bringing together what belongs together for good, meaning Bud and Terence, the infamous duo from various Westerns and other movies. I changed into multicolor mode then and finalized Buds head first. Since i had totally left out any other body- or background parts so far, i decided to continue with that and do a small frame around them afterwards. So i did the head of Terence next, which was pretty hard, because of the hair which looks kinda ugly now. I didn’t want to change into another color for that because of the overall looks of the picture, so i went with the colorscheme i had. The small border with the title came second to last. I can not remember exactly how the idea of border sprites came up in the first place, but i always thought this would be an appropriate picture to have some and make it look like a closed frame for both heads. Luckily Peiselulli from TRSi was so kind and coded the routine to display the border sprites. And i think it really does work. I know this is not a spectacular picture – it never was intended to be one – but i still think it has some charm, because of the characters. And sicne i didn’t want to have this one rotting on my harddisk forever, i decided to release it at the ultimate meeting. Cant reall say how much time went to it, but be assured it weren’t as much as i invested in some other ones.
